Stop Thinking Things Will Never Change

Many of us think that the problems we’re facing now are going to be with us forever, continuing to stop and hamper our progress. Get away from this mindset; it’s damaging and not evenly remotely true! We’re programmed to think short term. What are the immediate dangers, and how can I control them? If you’re feeling held back, you’ve got to look at the bigger picture. Set yourself realistic targets and focus on what is in your control. Stop waiting for a perfect time and instead cultivate courage, a positive mindset and take a leap of faith.

Don’t Listen to That Negative Voice

Do you have that voice inside your head that’s willing you to fail, tells you not to bother, and discourages you from giving up before you even start trying? Well, actually, we all have it. It’s just those who seem to have their life on track are better at learning to silence that inner voice. When you step out of your comfort zone, that voice will get even louder. Train yourself to ignore it! Do this by acknowledging it and asking, “Is this really true?” What you’ll find out is that it’s not. Our inner voice wants to keep us safe, living small and not trying new things. Practice pushing the boundaries of what’s normal for you gradually, one step at a time. By the end of the month, you’ll be doing things you’d never imagined were possible.

Don’t Assume The Outcome

You might hold yourself back from new opportunities because of a fear of failure. Many of us never start our dream projects, begin a new relationship, or apply for an ideal job role because we already have a perception in our heads of how things will turn out for us. You can read all the statistics and reviews you want, but they can never truly tell you how something will make you, and only you, feel.
